Letting people know about what I do…
After living and working in my design studio in Glasgow for over 25 years, I’m now based in London — and reconnecting with the architecture community here. I’ve started reaching out to architects so they know I’m around and available for collaboration.
If you know an architect or studio who might be interested in working together on colour, textiles, or interior detailing, I’d love if you could share this post or put us in touch.
When an architecture firm doesn’t need a full interiors department…
Many small and mid-size architecture practices create incredible work — but don’t have a dedicated interiors team.
That’s where I come in.
I collaborate directly with architects to:
• develop colour palettes
• specify fabrics and finishes
• select blinds, curtains, and soft furnishings
—all aligned seamlessly with the architectural intent.
One of my key focuses is the treatment of windows and understanding how a client will use each space, ensuring curtains and blinds enhance the architectural space.
My job is to make sure the interior feels as considered as the exterior, without the commitment of an in-house team member.
Architects — how early do you bring an interiors specialist onto a project?
